Keep your eyes on this URL (off road trailer)

For a cool new off road trailer that you mount your roof top tent to.

The site is not built yet, it is parked.

This guy just got one built, he is testing it out.
The thing is awesome, I want one when I move to where I have a garage.
Then I can pull the tent off my roof, and also have extra room to bring more gear than I can already cram into the FJ.

I wonder how that will compare to Adventure Trailers rigs.
They make two nice models.
The Chaser is the plain jane one so you can put your gear in below the tent, and the Horizon one has an onboard kitchen, water tanks, and more.

The Horizon

The Chaser

I kind of like the simpler design of the Chaser, as I already have water tanks, cook stove, all the stuff I really need.
With the Chaser type pf chassis, you just flip up the lid and store your gear below.

This one here is not an AT brand, but similar in how they flip up.

Does not this just make you wanna get out and camp

I am not sure what the FJ Cruiser forums member will be charging for his trailers.
He can not discuss it openly over there as he is not a vendor.

But I do like his design.
The guy that bought it will be towing it to the HUGE FJ Summit that the board over there does in CO. next week.
This is year two for the Summit, with over 300 FJ hitting the trails there.

I read up more on this new trailer, and it is suppose to do good off road without using one of those pintle hitches.
It uses an Aussie design that works very well.

I can not get one of these anyways until I move, but I really like them.
