I've looked, so apologies if I've overlooked, but I'm looking for info on any physical requirements on swapping a 3.4 2wd A340F from a 97 2wd 4runner, into a 92 2nd gen runner currently running a 3.0 with the A340H 2wd. The old 3.0/340H 2wd combo is coming out and the entire 3.4/340F 2wd combo would be going in, in their place.

Specifically looking to see if mounts, tail shafts, drive shafts and/or shift linkages need to be modified or swapped, since on paper the 2 transmissions are so similar?

Has anyone done this 2wd auto to 2wd auto swap and have experience on what the auto trans requires physically?
