Rotors...again

I have a 99 4Runner with the 13" front brakes. THe rotors warped after about 45000 miles. So I replaced the pads and got the rotors cut. They warped again soon thereafter. Is there any other rotor/pad combination that will help prevent this. I am not repeatedly doing 70-0 stops. The truck is driven normally. I have had the truck since new.

Try getting Brembo rotors, I recommend www.taylorautomotive.com , and Performance Friction pads at Auto Zone. Next time, you can do a search for this topic because it's been beaten to death in the past. BTW, welcome to the board!

Other that the previous suggestion, I would also recommend that you check the torque setting on the wheel lug nuts. If someone mounted the wheels using an air wrench and over tightened the lugs, that can contribute to the rotors warping.

I went with Powerslot rotors and they seem to have cured my issues. I was replacing rotors about annually...

Good deal guys. I'm a dealer for the Tire Rack and they sell Brembos and Powerslots. I'll give them a call and order them. May be a moot point though, as I am going to drive an Armada and Sequoia tonight. I need more space these days.
