maintenance schedule and shocks?

I was told few things I'd like to clarify.
I drive 96 4runner, 138 000 km (86K miles)

1. I have some oil sipping from the rear (stock) shocks, I was told
to replace them. Should I? Except for the reason to switch to
Bilsteins....

2. I was told never to replace dyno oil in transfer case and diffs.
Toyota says 24 K km ( 15 K miles), while following thread says 30
K miles. ( I know I should replace if I drive in water).

https://www.yotatech.com/forums/show...=&threadid=960 :

24 months (or 30,000 miles):
-Replace spark plugs
-Check valve clearance
-Replace the fuel filter
-Check spark plug wires and ignition system
-Flush and refill the cooling system
-Inspect and repack the front wheel bearings
-Change auto tranny fluid and filter
-Change manually tranny fluid
-Change transfer case fluid
-Change diff fluid

3. I was told to replace auto tranny fluid every 30 K miles, which
concurs with the above thread, but Toyota says 15K m.

4. I was told not to flush cooling system, just replace the coolant.

Any insight?
Leon

Yes, replace the shocks.

And as I just posted in another thread.....
Yes, do yourself a favor and keep with the "old school" service interval of 3,000 miles.

Here is the deal. When you purchase a car, the sticker in the window is going to tell you an estimated amount of money youll need to spend for maintenance per year. The manufacters are trying to lower the advertised amount of money youll need to spend per year. Do NOT fall for this Bull˟˟˟˟.

Every 3000 miles - Change oil and filter.

Every other oil change - Rotate your tires ( front to back ) and inspect the brakes.

Every 15000 miles change your Drive train fluids ( diff's, trans, transfer case oils. )

Every 30000 miles change the coolant and spark plugs ( non-platnuim tips plugs)

Every 60,000 change the timing belt and inspect the water pump.

Thats my suggestion.
