Question fuel filter replacement

My 2000 Tacoma is fast approaching 100k miles. At what point should I change the fuel filter? I'am not experiencing any problems but I find the dealers answer of "never" kind of hard to swallow. I normally wouldn't hesitate to change a fuel filter but this one is in a tight spot. I've got the 2.7lL engine and the fuel filter is mounted on the drivers side of the engine block under the intake manifold. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I'am taking a long trip next month and I'll bring a spare filter along with me if I don't replace this one ahead of time.

thanks, driscoja

No need to replace it unless it gives you trouble. Just bring a spare if you are concerned about it.
