Fly wheels
Anybody know how an flywheel actually breaks? Is it do to the way i drive or just plain old wear and tear?

Need more info. Like type of transmission motor etc.
I have seen them break but there was always an underlying cause. Like the trany or motor mounts mounts were broken causing a twisting motion between the motor and tranny.

i've heard of flywheels scattering because of some really high stress clutch dumps, but i think the main cause is an improper balance. scary stuff, like a shotgun in the bellhousing :o
