Automatic or 5 Speed?
On a 5 speed all 4 drain plugs are 24mm and invariably stuck like all heck. Hit them and the fill plugs (8 in all) with PB Blaster, Liquid Wrench or something similar a day or two ahead of time. You will need a breaker bar to legnthen your wrench and get the leverage you need to crack them open.
They say to crack the fill plugs first to make sure you can get new oil in after you drain the old out. Rear fill plug is on the back of the diff 24mm, front is on the front of the front diff, tranny and t-case are on the left side, all are 24 mm. Get a 6 point socket rather than a 12 point to help keep from rounding off the corners on the plugs.
Be sure to do this on level ground and fill till the oil comes out the fill hole.
Use 75W 90 GL5 gear oil in diffs and manual. If automatic the tranny takes normal ATF as does the t-case behind it.
There are metal crush gaskets that get smashed as you tighten the drain plugs and keep them from leaking. The set of 4 is around $8 from your dealer's parts counter monkey. NAPA may have something that will do the trick for less $$$. It is not advisable to re-use the crush gaskets. They are only supposed to be crushed once, however some have gotten lucky and re-used them without leaks.
Lastly, the drain plugs are magnetic to attract metal debris in the oil. Don't freak out if there is a fine metal powder on them. If there are big flecks of metal or half of a C-clip (like I found once) on the magnet you have a problem. Be sure the magnetic ones get back in the drain holes.
