if you dont have any vibration problems when you brake, or if the rotors seem like it has grooves in it (test it by runing your fingers fro mthe center outward) then you should be okay. You are more likely to warp the rotors prematurly when they are turned because now there is less mass to disapate the heat.

I turned a few sets and they keep warping soon after.
Now I toss them as soon as they warp and buy new ones.

Turn the rotors.
If they are not perfectly flat, and they're not, then the new pads that you put on will magnify the grooves and your brakes will wear out prematurely. Always turn the rotors when you get new pads.

My expierience has been that most rotors are throw away items now.You can turn them but they might warp, and when they warp your going to have to take your calipers off to replace them(another trip to the stealer). If they are glazed I would turn them, if not don't bother.

bear in mind that if you get decide to get them turned, there is a chance that they are below the minimum machining specification and they will need to be replaced, this wont come about until after they already have the truck apart where they basically have your balls in a vice at that point......
