Okay i have an 1980 toyota with a 3.8 buick out of a 83 reagel. My ext. fuel pump went out and i need a new one. I got a 4-7 psi universel one but that is only working like ลลลล. I need an idea of what model of fuel pump to get... i have 3/8 tubing all the way to the carb and it is a 4B quadjet with a holly manifold. What ext. pump would be about perfect for this set up? Some has to ahve the same 3.8 swap and running a fuel pump that works. And i tried to find a number on the old one or markigs but it was so rusted i had nothing. I think i read maybe a old supra one will work? any info would be great thanks RED

 

i always thought most guys just ran a mechanical pump...clearance issues?

don't get a supra pump -- those are high pressure, won't work with a carb. what brand of pump is in there right now? might try a holley pump, just look in any summit or jegs catalog, there's pumps galore in there
