4 Wheelin' and Now got Chunks Outta my Tires!

My truck is a 94. The terrain was dirt and river rock, no sharp jagged rocks that I noticed. Big rocks in places, but not boulders. I did notice that my tires are a little cracked and dry though. They look a little old. I'm thinking that's why I'm now missing some chunks toward the edges. Went up the hill - went down the hill - repeat a few times. Now I see I got some chunks missing out of my tires.

I bought this truck about 4 months ago, so I don't know how long these tires have been on there. They have a good amount of beef on 'em.

Anyone else experience this? Am I crazy? Can sharks swim backwards?

Yes. I don't know. No?

You don't say what tires you have but if it's got a DOT number on the sidewall that will tell you how old the tires are.
