Hi all. Great site loaded with useful info. I just purchased a cherry 1984 etracab 4x4 with 96k miles and have begun to fix it up to make it more capable. I just bought two spartan lockers and am going to install the front first. I have been all over the site looking for a tutorial on anything related to either changing out gears or installing a locker on the 8 inch solid front axle but haven't found anything. I have a feeling that a tutorial exists either here or elsewhere on another site. Can anyone direct me or steer me in the right direction, please? I'm sure that I could do the job without instructions but it is so much better and easier to learn what to do, and what NOT to do using the experience of others who have done the same job.
