I am needing to make a run soon also. Not this weekend with Mommy's Day though. Soon though. I am probably gonna make a Coral Canyon or Desert run soon. I had a buddy at work who just bought a new Nissan Frontier NISMO edition (locker) 4x4 that wants to ride along with me and see what it is all about before he risks scratching up his new BLACK truck.

Hey Voodoo i'm down for a trip as well. I'm in the Long Beach area let me know if you know of any trails around the LA area or want to try some place out. I've only been roading in the SD area and would like to get familiar with trails around here as well...

Thanks, Pat

Its been so long since Ive been anywhere other then Mojave to shoot that I cant make plans untill I have facts that some will know where there going.
After I go there I can figure it all myself.

Sounds good just keep up posted. I've heard about Azusa Canyon as well but have never been there. It's pretty local as well so let me know if you feel like a day trip or what not.

Should have been with us on the Carveacre run!! I can tell you right now the "pinstriping" I got tells a good story. I still wouldn't want another color truck though. Hey Eric - I picked up one of those air compressors and it works like a champ. Thanks for the heads-up.

Cool deal. Yeah I like mine. Not the fastest compressor but I have aired up 5 trucks in a row and not overheated it. I still want a Power Tank though.

Tonto, Do you still have plans for Bigbear?, Is it offroading or a campout/party with friends.

Both. Nothing too crazy. I'm looking at the main page for big bear right now to see if campsites can be together or not.

The way it looks now, there are no reservations to be made at Big Bear (darn mem day weekend)

If anyone has been there before and knows a spot to camp nearby that is first-come first-serve that would be sweet.

I'll look into some spots that are not in any campgrounds. That whole area is in the San Berdo. Nat. Forest and you actually don't need to stay in any campgrounds. We could find a spot that can hold as many people as we may have in the group. There's plenty of open space on the west side by the start of the White Mountain Trail.

The are by White Mtn is burned. It is better if you get an area near Crab Flats...pretty central for all the trails.

Sorry I cant join you guys....we will be camping up near Julian with some friends and Mikey.

That's actually my first option as well. You're not talking about the Richie Creek area are you? I'm hoping my "secret spot" will be free but as you expeditious four wheelers go that may not be the case. Let me know Marc. I also still have to get that intake tube for the Runner from you.
