So Cal Trip Late Early September????

I'm pretty bummed that I missed the Pismo trip. I want to get out and meet some of you guys, and above all else, get in some wheelin.

Would anyone be down to do another meet either August 27-29 or September 3-5???

We could do Pismo again or hit up Ocotillo???

I'd like to check out Pismo, but it sounds like space gets pretty limited...Did anyone get left out???

If we could get at least 10 people that would be awesome.

I'm going somewhere either way.

I'm always down for a Pismo trip. Ocotillo gets too hot for my taste. I burn easily.

What's up in big bear??? Maybe I'll hit that. Is it trails? Rock Crawling?
Is it ok for stockers and beginners too??? I might bring a buddy who has a heep.

Otherwise I think another pismo trip would be cool, hell I'll even go the very next weekend.

Well that's two, me and bud for another pismo trip. anyone else????

Woah, slow down there man. Let me recover from the pismo trip first, i didnt think you'd want to go this soon.
Probably sometime after the Big Bear trip.
See this post
I'd like to go back to Pismo and also run Big falls on the next trip.

I've never wheeled at BigBear, this will be my first time.
I missed last years ttora bigbear event because it was the same weekend as Pismo4rj1.

maybe pismo this winter would be cool...

other than that, you've got big bear this august.

or if you're needing a wheelin fix, you can always set up a quick day run at hungry valley, rower flats, or silverado canyon.

Some friends and I went up to Rowher Flats around midnight not too long ago and got pretty dirty....I'm certain thats what did my MAF in. Twas fun. I'd be up for a run out there sometime in the near future if others are interested.

well esp since you're in the SCV too, it'd be real easy to set something up for us and the valley crowd.

Definitley. Weekends are kinda tough for me cause of work though, especially since I think I might be taking a Saturday to do Big Bear (not sure yet.) I wanna have my locker in too before anything so I'm not troubling you guys to pull me up hills and what-not. Hopefully it'll be in and working by the end of next week.
If anyone's interested, (sounds like deathrunner's itchin' for some wheeling ) then throw out a date and I'll be there!

EDIT: Deathrunner and Charles, are you guys going to Big Bear?

Me and some Tacoma buddies are hitting up Ocotillo August 14, 15th....nite run though...we'll get there around 6pm and wheel until it gets too dark or whatever...then party, then wake up (or stay up all nite) when it's daylight and wheel again until it gets too hot....

I am up for going on a little trip aug 21-22 or the weekend of the 28th. It may still be a little warm on the desert floor at that time. I would like to hit up Los Coyotes again, or Big Bear, or if it cools down Coyote Canyon was a blast.

I do need a wheeling fix really soon......Carveacre

I'm going to hit Big Bear if my Long travel kit is on by then. I think it will happen.

snwbdr- I'll be gone the week of teh 14th, otherwise I'd go. Sounds like fun though.

I really want to check out Pismo for a weekend. I think I'm going to check it out for the first or second weekend in September, I just figured I'd post on here to see if anyone else wanted to meet up out there. I figure if one persons willing to go, why not get everyone who can? I'm just ecited to use my new investment.

Early September - I *may* be up for it depending on whether or not I can get my truck working again.

Ocotillo may still be way too hot then. A big group here went in March and it was already blazing.

Yeah, I remember you getting pretty roasted
Usually we don't head out to the desert until Halloween. Maybe an early evening/night run a little earlier than that. Coyote canyon would be fun, but probably still really hot, Los Coyotes rez is fun too, but I have no idea what the weather would be like then. Based on the area, probably hot too, but not as bad as the desert.

it's pretty hot...I went in June on a nite run and it was perfect...about mid 80's at nite...next day around 9am it was close to 100...but I don't think it went over...all in all the heat wasn't bad cuz we left around 10...now if we'd stayed till noonish, then it probably woulda been hotter
