More Howiepalooza!

Don't miss the extreme action Saturday 5/7 evening after the rock crawl competition.

The Money Wall is a timed course through some extreme terrain. Fastest time through the gates wins the pot.
Starting out with $100 in the kitty, each driver will get a chance to run for $5 a try(adds to the pot). You can try as many times you as you want.

The Oklahoma Four Wheel Drive Association http://www.okfwda.org/
Will be providing a FREE hotdog lunch for the competitors and event staff on Saturday. They will also have some snack foods for spectators.

Extreme Offroad Magazine (XOM) http://www.xtremeoffroadmag.com/
is bringing several photographers to cover the event.

There will be a 30° RTI ramp there for competitors and spectators alike. Wanna see how much tweak your junk has, c’mon!

Disney Oklahoma is centrally located in the US, a short drive from everywhere. So bring your rig down, gas it up, lets see what you got. C'mon down and have some fun with us.

Oh yah, try not to break your junk to early as we have a nice night run planned for Saturday night.

wOOt!

Me and my wheelin' partner will be competing in Pro Modified. Not sure if I'll run my Tacoma in the stock class or not. Being bob'd might put me in the Modified Stock class runnin' against peeps lokt F&R w/ SFA's. If they put me in stock (as the most comparible class), we'll run that class as well. We don't think we'll win or even place but more or less doin' it just to do it, ya know. If I do get in the stock class, I bet I'll be the only IFS in the whole comp.

Any other YT'rs plannin' on makin' it out? (weather to compete or spectate)

What a BLAST!!!!

The truck we thought would have to run the ProMod class ended up gettin classed StockMod.
My bob was considered "fender trimming" so they classed me in the Stock class.

Our StockMod truck received some pretty good damage on the first course. Although we were able to finsih the course, we sustaned enough damage to keep us from competing on the other 2 courses.
Damage received includes...took out crossmember & mounts, destroyed carrier bearing, ripped out rear o2 sensor, smashed exhaust pipe, snapped rear drive shaft, broke a Bil 7800 in half!, and maybe more once we get time to fully inspect it. We limped it about 90 miles back with only a square front drive shaft.

The Stock truck was able to finish all 3 courses with minimal damage and ended up taking 3rd place in it's class. I was the ONLY competitor on IFS in the entire comp. and the only one open in the front in my class. (1st place was F&R ARB lokt TJ and 2nd place was a Rubicon)
Damage received includes....SAW contacted the passenger caliper bajo fitting and cause it to leak just slightly. A quick bleed and re-tighten and I had brakes again.

Here's a link to some of the photos from the comp.
