I am looking to add to my fleet of Tacos. This one would be a beater/gas saver for me. The one I let people borrow when they want to move a sofa...

I am looking at a pretty sweet 2001 Tacoma. It is in pretty darn good shape but here are the specs and let me know what I should pay for it.

2001
4 banger
automatic
4x4
extended cab
160k miles
bedliner
power windows, locks, cruise control..ect (SR5 maybe?)
Not TRD.
Very clean inside and out.
Only one spot of body work needed, $300 would make it perfect.
needs tires Yesterday.
probably due for transmission service.
$650 tune up done last year
nice aftermarket stereo
everything works as it should.
White on cream interior

I think for $1,100 after the purchase price, I could have it immacute (tires, bodywork, tranny flush)

The million dollar question:
How much should I pay for it?

 

Well you left out one important piece of info:
Miles on the clock.
And with fleet of Tacos you probably know more than most-

160k miles listed in post.
My fleet is an 05 and 07 Double Cab. This is a different beast. LOL
But $5875 sounds reasonable.
