I need some help if anyone out there can give me some advice or maybe knows what the problem is. I have a 05 Tacoma prerunner 4.0 V6 1GR FE, few weeks ago cel came on so I plugged my scan mac up, showed code for vvt solenoid bank 2, ok so I went ahead and replaced both, btw which were a pita. Ok, it ran good for a couple days then threw cel again showing cam timing solenoid bank 2, there again I replaced both, well to make a long story short I have replaced over $900 worth sensors/solenoids etc. Now the damn thing cranks, isles ok, but when shifted into reverse or drive runs like a 9 eyed rat, showing codes for maf sensor and a/fuel ratio sensor bank 2 sensor 1, also says cam timing on bank 2 is over advanced ....... WTH !!!! Btw, I’m at 250,000 miles
