back handed article bout wheeling in the wall street journal
Hey guys I figured id post a link to this article for you to read. It is from the wall street journal and...it speaks for its self. If you scroll down the thread there are emails to the writer and stuff, if you do email them please be professional.

I think this is more of the same. There will always be someone who feels this way and to be honest, it is very likely that there was an idiot off roader that was rude or seen doing damage.
I don't agree with her but I can see how it is interpreted this way. Lots of exagerations and stretches of the truth.
It is fair to say that most of us here on YT are responsible stewards of the areas we wheel. But most of us have seen sites or individuals that have no reguard for the environment and it is the one bad apple thing all over again.
Scope of influence comes to mind though. If we stick to what we can change and take care of (our local areas) then that is where we start. A huge pro wheeling crusade IMHO is not the way to overcome people like this.
Tread lightly needs to continue to gain momentum and become part of our hobby culture.
