Northern Indiana Toy Newb
Hi, Everyone...
My name is Chris and I live in South Bend, IN. I came here to learn all I could about the T100 my brother just aquired. He has a 95 (?) T100 XtraCab SR5 4x4 with a 3.4L/auto that has an almost unbelievable 501,XXX miles on the original engine... (verified by the Original Owner).
My brother's plan is to add (maximum tire + minimum lift + basic bolt-ons + intense maintinance) to achieve a solid, reliable daily driven truck that can AND WILL also serve as a weekend wheeler and all around work horse.
Being that the truck has such high miles (even for a Toy) it is amazing to me that there are no codes poping up on an OBD check.
We gave it a "SeaFoam Tune-Up" and it really responded well. Next on the list is an exhaust gasket (@ 2-1 flange) and a set of fresh plugs and hopefully some new wires.
4WD needs some attention since it is selective as to when it wants to engage... thinking either a bad vacuum line, or a sticking dif actuator... opinions/suggestions?
After that, will be some wheels(maybe) and some tires.. hoping for at least 33s, prefer 35 or maybe 37s if we can score some on the cheap.
I will post a few pics sometime this weekend.

Make sure you get Denso or NGK plugs 02 sensors, or really anything electrical.
Consider a set of manual locking hubs and just bypass the vacuum system for the front diff. Once you've done this your 4WD is not speed limited and you can pop in and out anytime, any speed. Aisins from an older hilux or 4runner bolt right on.
Check the CV boots for cracks, the manual locking hubs save these from running all the time.
