AWorth's new 96 T100 SR5

Hey, I've been on yotatech for a while now, mostly for the 1st gen 4runner forums. After selling my '88 4runner I picked up a 96 T100 SR5 V6. I think it has just about every option you could get in 96. It has 180,000 miles, runs and drives great. I'm really liking it so far, the lady I bought it from purchased it new in 1996, she actually ordered it from the factory.

It even came with the original sticker.

It is beautiful. I just bought one too but much uglier and cheaper. I just saw one like that for sale the other day for 7k. Keep an eye open for the buckets. They are nice.

Nice truck! One of my favorite colors. I'm trying to find buckets too, once i get them my 98' SR5 will have every available option. Mine had the original sticker too. $28,900 new. It has 153k and i got it for $3995, but its valued at $8,000. Fantastic find.

Thanks for the compliments.

T10098 Your truck is sweet, I wish I could have found black, but I'm really starting to dig the two tone silver and green. I also really like that I found one with bucket seats, the little arm rest is nice and it comes open to put stuff in.

Also, T10098 I was reading your thread and noticed you had a problem with a rusty tow hitch, I have the exact same problem so I drenched it in WD-40 and smacked it with a hammer but it still wouldn't budge, SC T100 I think mentioned PB Blaster, I'll have to give that a try.

Yeah he mentioned PB blaster. One main problem is the pin that holds it in has mushroomed, so i have to cut that off and hope i can just bash it out, i DW40 it every other night, hopefully it helps.
