I am striking out all over the place, cant seem to find throttle cable assembly for my 96 4cyl.
Several places list them, but now say discontinued item.
The old one, probably the original item, is so smashed that the adjustment is all the way out, and unless regularly lubed, gets sticky.
Any Ideas out there?

Even the dealer says not available.
Any possibility of using a universal cable kit?
Has anyone tried that?

 

A little late, hope you found an option. My V6 took 78180-34050. A few sites said that part wasn't available but ToyotaPartsDeal.com had it. Not cheap, but a direct replacement.
