Wiper Delay switch?

Wiper Delay switch?

Found a Wiper Delay switch at the junkyard in a toyota pickup. Didnt have the correct tools to take off everything to see how it was wired so my question is anyone know how it is wired?

Its made by equus has 6 wires

go online to try to find a wiring diagram for it-no sense guessing which wire is what. Unless your fond of experimenting and always replacing fuses.

Typically you interrupt the signal/power to your slow and fast wiper motor wires and the Equus unit allows you to adjust the speed or delay. If you can get the model number of the Equus unit then google "Equus 6500 wiring diagram" for example or contact the company directly or perhaps they have their own website for just such adventures.

Yea thats what i figured. There's 2 wires that were not used when it was hooked up prior to removal. Those were blue and yellow. So im assuming its pretty simple and they had red +, black -, and they jumped purple and white across the "low" wire running from the switch. Cause i dont see the point in having a wiper delay on the "high" setting. There is no part number, and googleing equus wiper delay switch does nothing.
