I have an 88 4runner that I am changing the door panels from all the power windows and door locks to the base model manual window type. I will be using stainless steel toggle switches for everything, I bought some really nice double throw, double pole reversible polarity switches but they only have 4 places to plug the wires into. I need 5 places, 2 from the window motor and 3 others from the wiring harness...hot, ground etc...I am making a custom diamond plate center console with the switches in it...pics to follow if there is any interest in this. my reason for the change is so that when i put my half doors on, there is a quick disconnect inside the cab, which makes it easier to still have th power options without the full power door panels. does anyone know where i can get a good quality stainless toggle switch with the 5 prongs to plug into or a way to splice 2 of them together to use the ones a have already bought. thanks!

 

why not find another set of switches, and just put those on the half door, instead of making it all inbred?

 

I'm pretty sure that there are all ready plugs that connect the door wiring inside the cab....sounds like a lot work....have fun!!!!!
