A/C Electrical Problem

My A/C went out a few days ago. I have narrowed it down to an electrical problem because the compressor will kick on if I apply power to the clutch. The switch doesn't light up, and if i bypass the low pressure switch it doesn't kick on, I checked the pressure in the system, it was fine. Any ideas?? I looked in the fsm - what is an A/C Amp and what is the A/C relay? - relay maybe the problem??

found the problem, burnt out lamp in the switch, and a blown fuse in the secret location. this secret location that i speak of is beind the glove box, located above and behind the head unit. the cap of it faces the passengers side of the vehicle- it has the A/C and the heater fuses in it. to get to it- open the glove box, yank the fabric cover off the back, drop the glove box by letting the little tabs slip by and there it is on the left side of the hole... i looked right past it a few times...

Thanks for this little posting, it might lead me to resolving my AC issue. I know I hadn't found the AC fuse until now :<)
