86 22re engine electrical help
I'm swapping in a 7mge and trying to eliminate as much as I can from under the hood and behind the dash. I lost my pics from my tear down and need some help with a few things
1 - there are 4 (I believe, I'm at work and can't remember 100%) wires that are 10 or 8 gauge...they go from the fuse box, across the rad and to the drivers side to near the air box. It ends there and has 1 big white connector that plugs into a connector that comes out of the drivers side fender well. 4" down the line from that connector out of the fenderwell there is another big connector in-line with that one that looks like it connects to something on the drivers side fenderwell. what would it connect to? If I don't need that component anymore, (if its in the supra harness) I could just cut that second connector that I no longer need and splice the end connector on. If you could show a pic of the drivers side fenderwell and show what is connected to that, it would be a huge help. I believe that those wires go from the fuse box and provide the fuse panel in the drivers side kick panel with power. Sorry for the long post but this swap has been taking me forever and I'm getting close but ran into this problem.
2 - my second question is there is a relay (I think) or it could be a CHM or CMH (a heater something-rather) with my 7m swap, I don't think I need this anymore. Would I be able to just cut it out? 1 wire (a 10 gauge black wire with a white stripe) has been cut already in the passenger side kick panel area. Then there is 1 10 gauge solid black wire that is spliced into the main truck harness and goes across to the fuse box area. the last wire is a smaller gauge black wire with a red stripe that goes to the drivers side as well. I was just about to trace these wires but had to leave for work. Again, since I'm runnine the 7m, can I just cut this out? will it fcuk anytbing up or not make the truck run?
Is this the longest single post on yotatech?!?!?!
Thanks for any help!!!!!!!!

sas'd22re:
What year and what vehicle is the 7M-Ge out of?
One of the white connectors that you speak of on the drivers fender well is probably the connection that your alternator harness makes to the main harness and back to the battery, but according to 86 wiring diagram manual the connector is supposed to be black.

Your question has nothing to do with the sas'd22re's original thread, so you are basically hijacking his thread which is highly frowned upon. Yotatech members are extremely helpful and they will try and answer anyone's questions, but you need to put a little bit of effort into trying to find the answer before you ask for help!
I have to ask how hard did you search this topic before you asked the question? I plugged in "Injector Flow Rates" in a search on "Google" and this was the #2 website that came up. http://autospeed.com/cms/title_Injec...2/article.html
You will find just about everything that you are looking for!
From one "Canuck" to another...next time search first, then ask for help.
