2002 Taco with Trailer Brake Control

For all you taco owners.......As you know all trucks equipt with the tow package comes with a 4pin flat plug for the trailer. Im trying to add a trailer Brake Control for my pop up tent trailers 7pin round plug. I went down to uhaul and found the 4 to 7pin adapter. It comes with a blue wire for the brake controller. What have you guys done in the past to hook one of these systems into your trucks? I know there isnt any harness that just plugs in because i called 2 toyota dealers today and they said theres no such thing and that all the wires for the controller need to be ran individually. What do you guys think?

I just did this to my '07 FJ and the procedures would be the same on any vehicle with the 4-pin connector. This thread has all the information you'll need:

It takes a little work but isn't difficult. Good luck.
