TOYOTA Towing

First off i have to say this is my first post and i am not much of a story teller, so Ill be quick. lol
Last weekend in the Yukon, Canada. Where I now live. I met some locals who where in need of help. they were attempting to pass through a short 15 km trail which is fairly packed snow from snow machines and x-country skiers. They were in a Ford Larriot about 10km up. Their friend in his 3/4ton 6l gmc was about 3km coming from the other end separating them by only a couple km.
so wanting to know this trail and maybe some wheelers i quickly agreed to go help pull them out.
about 5km up this snow packed trail there was a rock slide with a couple bigger rocks i chose to go around but while doing so I had a dagger frozen to the ground take out the drivers rear tire. I dont have a spare. With only a few km to go and a long walk ahead i decided to just keep going the tire was shot with a tare in the side wall and being in the snow i ran no risk of rim damage. I made it to the ford (a stock f150) it was pretty buried but thought i would give it a tug before start digging it out to my surprise this little 3 wheel toy popped it right out although they couldnt back out so i had to tow them dont the hill in reverse for 2km till we had a turnaround spot.
As for the other gmc i could not get a tire fast enough to save it but watched the effort. where a ford 3/4 ton with chains have to drag him all the way out.
