Had an epiphany the other day thinking about what I used when I built my mini truck 15 years ago for my shaved doors. I was thinking about making tube doors but didn't wanna fool with unplugging the wire harness every time I took the doors off if I do. And then I remembered these... http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odkw...m+tac&_sacat=0
They are just spring loaded brass tabs that disconnect when your door opens, then the circuit reconnects when the door is shut. Just thought I'd share an option for ease of operation.

Eh, I ended up re-wiring my door circuits (speakers and locks) with Delphi weather pack connectors.
It takes an extra 30 seconds to remove the kick panel and unplug the connection. I have speakers on my tube doors that plug in to the weather pack connectors, too. Replace the kick panel and everything is good.
I look at it as just one of those necessary things that has to happen in order to be a badass with tube doors.
