I purchased the Trailgear alternator bracket
TG120120-1-KIT
And a 140amp alternator from summit racing
and PWM-47294
however when i install it the alternator sits too far forward. I'm did sone research before hand and it appears people use the sane alt and bracket no problem, bracket issue? Or parts/install issue?
Belt rubbing (I had to force the tensioner arm to the side too because it doesnt line up)
Bottom alternator mount, hard to see but i cant move alternator back without modifications to alt or bracket.
Usually the bracket with the slot for adjustment goes in front of the alternator bolt boss. The bolt with a washer covers the slot on the bracket and threads into the alternator.
I just looked up the TG kit and it looks like the lower bracket just goes where it goes on 4 bolts and the alternator sits between the ears. The top adjuster bracket looks to be on the wrong side of the alternator boss though.

Yeah I know the tensioner arm goes in front but I physically can't get it to because the bottom bracket puts the alternator too far forward, and as a result the ear on the alternator doesnt line up, if that makes sense. I'm going to remove the bottom bracket tomorrow and check for bending and compare with OEM mount.
