I've started my T100 buildup thread but I have a serious concern. Does anyone know if the 4x4 harness from the fwd can be tied in to the TWD harness under the hood where it is located from the factory? 96 TWD SR5 going to 97 FWD SR5. IFS. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The harness I'm referring to is the T-case harness. Help needed to know whether or not I need the whole under dash harness too. If I do then I'm SCREWED.
Okay I need a t100 wiring guru for this question. The 974x4 I'm building is getting a much nicer body put on it. 96 extra cab to be exact. The 96 is a TWD SR5 with the 3.4 automatic transmission and the 97 is a 3.4 automatic transmission. The transfer case has a small harness of its own and I wonder if the 96 TWD has a place in the harness to plug the t case wiring into??? If not I guess I will have to hunt down a 4x4 to get the inner cab harness and cluster correct? Or is there a way around that? Northern Michigan and I need a 4x4 because I'm tired of getting stuck. Not to mention the fact that I want to start offroading this next year. I have already spent enough time and money on it that my wife may want a divorce soon. Would say lol but that would seal my fate. Thanks in advance for any and all help with this problem. Keeping the build going but worried about the harness issue. I don't want to reassemble the interior and have to take it back out for a harness swap!!! Okay friends, hope everyone is doing well and enjoying your Yotas. My personal build has been a real challenge to get the desired results I'm looking for. I am posting some pictures of the progress and would really like some honest feedback. My wife says I'm trying to build a monster truck from a matchbox. A bit of a sting but I'd like your opinion. Any criticism or ideas are much appreciated and welcomed. Will post more today in the daylight. Night pics don't show much.
