stripped and spinning bolts

So I went to loosen the bolts on my powersteering gearbox tonight and I had my huge bar loosening them. I felt it come loose so I kept cranking and it eventually got easier to turn so I put it on a smaller drive and cranked faster...well I soon realized that the bolt wasnt moving out, just around. Didn't know what to do so I went to take off the other one. Started crankin down and slipped off...slipped off again..and again...then stripped. So I said forget about it and called it a night.

Now I've got 2 bolts plus one more that I havent tried yet that are attached to my Powersteering Gearbox and the frame. One is turning in the hole but not coming out, and the other one is stripped. I am gonna try to pound a socket on with a hammer on the stripped one..but what do I do with the one that isnt coming out? Will that one just pull out? Will I have to re-tap that hole? Any ideas would be nice, thanks.

Drill the old bolts out and retap them.

Did you try putting another wrench on the other side of the bolt where there is a nut?

That would make it a lot easier. Kyle are you talking about the bolts in this pic that are labeled 142(1,450, 105) http://personal.utulsa.edu/~nathan-b...ng/13gearh.pdf
