locking console...

hey guys im looking for ideas on a lockig console. i dont want to leave my truck documentation and all my other important ลลลล in my glove... i like the tuffy's but they are out of my pricerange. i was thinking like bolting in an oldschool green ammo box would be badass, but i cant find one with a lock on it. any ideas would help

Why not put a lock and latch onto an ammo can? A couple people have build boxes out of steel, since you have a welder you could do that, and a couple people have built them out of plywood, which would also work.

that will fit right between my seats, then i could somehow bolt something to the floor to lock it too....plus its bad ass looking

I got this one from Walmart - $18 or something.





Then I cut out the plastic locking area and fiberglassed in a steel reinforced box for all my stuff. Since I don't put the top on ever, and I have tube doors.
