How much does the 5VZ (3.4L) weigh?

If I take on rebuilding the engine myself, I'd like to have an engine stand. Harbor Freight sell a 1000# stand for $55. That's cheaper than renting one for 5 days.

It's not 1000 lbs. Under 500 lbs for sure.

I figured as much. I searched but couldn't find anything. I thought I remember reading somewhere that it weighs in at around 470 lbs. I think I read that a few years ago on ODW.

If it's 470, then the 3VZE, 5VZE and 1UZ are all around the same weight...

I was using a HF 1000# stand for my 3.4. You'd be welcome to borrow it for your project (I certainly don't plan on using it, again for a while! lol!).

I'm in the Metro area pretty regularly to see my fiancee, so PM me, if you're interested.
