changing wheels/tires

When I swap out my all terrains (and wheels) for my mud terrains (and wheels), its awlays very awkward hoisting the decently heavy 33" tires and wheels up a few inches and trying to look at the lugs to line them up. i end up having to call my mom or dad out to line up the holes while I am holding the weight because I can't support the tire and see the lugs from that angle. is there a different technique I should be using to do this? thanks

sit on your and put your feet under the wheel.

Lift with your legs and arms and stick it it in the holes

ah yes, i tried that as well but given that i was only jacked from the hi-lift and had no jack stands etc, i made triple sure not to get anywhere under the truck. that has since changed as I got some long, heavy duty jack stands and a floor jack so when i have stands under it ill try it out. thanks

x2.

My 36"s mounted on steel rims weigh in at 100 lbs each, so this is the only method that works. Just be sure to have the vehicle sitting securely on jack stands, and not just a jack.
