Can someone please tell me...

How much stress the 2nd gen IFS can actually handle? I imagine its not a ton simply b/c its an IFS. But can I wheel with this setup w/o too many problems. Not exactly rock crawling or anything, just hittin some mud holes and maybe a little thick stuff. Maybe when I get a new job I'll go for dana's front and rear but I cant really afford that for now. If someone could give me examples of what their IFS has survived that would be great. I just got this thing so I dont want to go out and break it on the first try.

there actually pretty tough for what they are.. Ive wheeled ifs hard with 35" boggers and it held up! for a while. but for the type of wheeling you will be doing you will be just fine.

Depending on what you are running the IFS stock is just as strong as the stock solid axle. (granted there are a lot of things you can do to the SA that will improve its strength) There are plenty of people on here that have very capable IFS rigs. (AxelIke & TC)

mine is stock and ive had it from being airborne, to rock crawling (they weren't huge boulders or anything) and its handled everything just fine.

but if your worried you can always buy a IFS Truss Bar to help strengthen your IFS
