Brand New XM Onyx for $19.99
Start plug for XM radio < So awhile ago, I got angry at my radio as it kept cutting out power to one of the speakers and when it was working, the local alternative station was playing things like "pretty woman", which no offense if that is your type of music, I am just into something a little more harder. So I ripped out my radio and installed my old 200 watt Rockford Fosgate amp, powering my speakers and I got a 3.5 mm jack into 2 RCA's from Radio Shack and ran everything through the MP3 player on my phone. Well, after a road trip to Southern California, my list of songs seems very repetitive to me now, so I went to Best Buy to see about XM and if I could run it with my application, they were not able to answer any questions that I had about if it has a volume control and if I could plug my 3.5 mm jack into it, so I went to the local stereo shop, they were pretty much the same way and didn't understand when I said I had no radio. After all this I called XM to ask them my questions and they assured me that it would work just fine for the XM Onyx and then told me that I could buy it over the phone from them for $19.99! Best Buy wanted $80 for it and the Stereo shop wanted $130 for it, the web site says $59.99 but she told me she would get it to me for 20 bucks and my understanding from the email for confirmation that I was sent is that I also get 3 months of free service. Just to let everyone know, if you are planning on getting XM radio, call 866-635-2349 to get it with no mail in rebates or anything, just straight up $19.99 plus shipping which is kinda expensive at $12. > End plug for XM Radio.

No, it was available at the at the beginning of the year. I'd try calling though. They'll do almost anything to get/keep customers. People are cutting things like "pay radio" out of their budgets so I'm sure they are loosing a lot of customers.

Funny thing is, at the stereo shop when they asked me how much I was willing to pay for it, I told them under a $100 and the guy laughed and said good luck finding that. I told him they had it at Best Buy for $80 and he just changed the subject, figured everyone now days would try to make customers happy. Every time I go to that stereo shop, I leave telling myself that I am never going back and somehow after a little time passes, I go back and same results.
