Question Adding grease to CV joints in 4runner.

Anybody here repacked their cv's without pulling the axles? My inners are leaking from under the clamps. Anybody knows if CV grease is available in a tube, you know-the one that look like a tooth paste tube. I was thinking that they could be repacked by removing the clamp on the boot-then slipping the end of the tube under the CV boot where clamp was. Any one can recommend what clamp to use, once I take the original off.
What do you all think?

Any other ideas are very welcome.

There's a post somewhere where someone shows their idea of an apparatus that goes on the spindle and pumps in grease. Try searching for it.

If grease can get out, dirt can get in.

I'd replace it.

You might do okay just putting a new clamp on there and wiping up. There's a ton of grease in those boots and especially if your hubs can be unlocked then I don't think they're going to wear out in a hurry.

Unfortunately I can not unlock my hubs- I have 1996 4runner.
But in any way: Any recommendation on the type of the clamp?
