Leaking auto tcase

Ok so my 94 toyota pickup 3.0 auto is starting to leak alittle more on my tcase. My question is do i have to remove the entire transmission just to remove the tcase to rebuild it. Its an auto trans. Pls any info would be great. Thanks.

Kadi - I don't know much about the automatic trannies, but I would assume the tcase can be unbolted from the transmission and removed. Can you tell where it is leaking from? May not need to drop it, if it is leaking from either of the output seals or perhaps from the drain plug, with any of those leaks you could fix the issue while installed in the truck.

the output shaft seal is 1 leak but there is also another leak on the front 4x drive shaft and also the gasket area. I will also do the tranny pan gasket the same time i do the tcase. Just want to get all the leaks out of the way so i dont have any future problems. Thanks for the info now i can start on it in the next 2 days
