Truck not starting - Clutch sensor maybe?

97' RWD 2.4L Tacoma (my lil' starter truck)

Was on way to work this morning and was still waking up, pushed my clutch in and engine turned over but i released the clutch to early by accident and it died. Embarrassed to say I have done this a few times before. Went I went to start start it again nothing happened. Not dead battery, I tried to jump.

I checked the clutch sensor and pushed it all the way down with my hand and also the pedal, nothing. Decided it was the sensor so I tried to bypass it by running wire between terminals of clip going into sensor and got nothing.

Wondering what this could be, any help is greatly appreciated.

And of course its raining and ive been bent under my dash for the last hour getting my ass soaked.

Well if you have jumped the switch correctly and the truck still does not crank.

I am not sure if your truck has a starter relay or not not having seen that engine close up and in person

another part that can cause a no crank condition

Time to start checking other things .

Start at the battery and check the terminals

check the ground connections .

How many miles ?? Perhaps time for starter contacts

231K miles. I just checked starter relay with this video
and it seems good. When I check continuity across 3 and 5 with power hooked up the omes were only reading 0.04 and in the video his was much higher, I don't know a bunch about electrical stuff to know if that means anything.
Battery terminals looks good.

I guess next step starter contacts?
