Tps=bad gas mileage?

I had a cel come on and had the code pulled tps malfunction(p0120) and had it reset. I had not driven my 4runner for a while because I was riding my motorcylce. Winter comes around and Im getting horrible gas mileage. I understand the winter blend gas but im losing about 5-6 mpg. Could the throttle position sensor be the problem.

To answer your question - Yes.

However, do a search for "P0120" and look at the huge number of results you'll get.
I'm going to move this thread to the Newbie Tech Section.

This particular code and issue has been discussed all over the place on here.
I have had personal issues with it myself, actually.
