toyota 1/2 ton running gear

toyota 1/2 ton running gear
I'm doing a 327 swap in my 88 singlecab. And I was wondering if I should go with chevy 1/2 ton running gear or stay with toyota and get a soild front end. What do you guys think? Thanks
