ok, so i know a guy selling a toyota axle that he thinks to be out of an older fj. are the older fj axles the same as the 85 pick-up axles? by the pics shown, its looks like the axle is upside down or the diff is on the driver. and if the axle is sitting upside down, then does that mean the fj's were spring under? cuase the perches are on the underside of the axle if it is upside down in the pics. any ideas? thanks!

Yeah the old Land Cruisers were spring under.

 

ok, so it is upside down. so if i put switch the perches to the top, then is there any reason this axle couldnt be used fo a SAS? we're looking to swap my bros 86 runner.

its a little narrower than a 85 miin truck.. the 86 and rear axzles are ALOT WIDER i would think..

you could use it but its more like better for a samurai... even then a toy mini truck..
if its a fj60 axle its actually A PERFECT match for a ifs rear but that aint no big boy 9.5 inch diff on that axle!

save your pennys just a front toyota axle 200-300 tops!
