Hey guys,

In our continuing quest to fix up this '85 4x4 truck for my son, we've wondered where we can purchase those rollbars (light bars for the insurance types) for the bed and different styles of brush guards for winch mounts.

I'm taking care of the driveability issues, he's financing the "looks" department.

I've checked in the various off-road mags (4 wheeler, 4wor, etc.) but I believe his truck is too old to appeal to the mass audience so they don't advertise.

As always, this place is a wealth of information, so where do you guys get this stuff?

I have a rollbar that came with my truck that I never installed that I would love to have out of my garage and see go to a good home, but it's kinda big to ship. The back legs pull out but the front part has the legs riveted but they could probably be drilled out to break it down.

 

That is exactly what he is looking for. I believe it would be shippable if you drilled the rivets out. Are you interested in selling and shipping it? I will PM you. Thanks very much for replying.
