Hi all and I hope I am posting in the right place. I have a 92 Toyota Previa and the blower motor Is fine and the temperature gauge runs normal....But I only have heat when I am driving on the freeway. If I slow down due to a traffic jam or stop I have only cold air. Also I am leaking Antifreeze from somewhere and cannot see where it is coming from. Any help is appreciated. Thanks In advance!

 

The reason your losing heat when you stop is that it's low on coolant, and there isn't enough coolant being circulated when at a stop to keep the heat going to the heater Core. Find your leak, fix it, and the heat should return to normal.

 

.....should return to normal after fixing the leak AND filling the coolant back up.
