Is it possible?
To swap in a 4.6L chevy v6 in place of the 3.0L? Seems this motors would be easier to fix (cheaper too) than the 3.0L. Just wondering if it possible and what is needed to do the swap.
I have an 88 Blazer Tahoe w/ a bad body but a newer motor, and a nice 4Runner with a bad motor.
The only motors I have found are over $1,200.

I blame that on mild dyslexia and high amounts of being blond. Will the 4.3 fit the 3.0 5 speed, or are there adapters available? Also, what is involved in splicing the wiring harness?
Why is dyslexia so hard to spell?

As for the wiring harness, not a clue.
But I bet someone knows more than I do.
