Ok need advice on a new 3.4 Toyota motor.

So the crank sheered off the flywheel and then destroyed the crank in the motor on my wife's 98 Runner. Pickup a low miles motor with a very close VIN for a replacement. Well that motor is a dud and am currently fighting with the yard about it. That is its own S show and for a different day. In the meantime i need to get it back on the road snd out of my buddies shop. I am not sure I can stomach another yard motor and have it be bad. So I am hoping to find someone that sells good rebuilds. Not looking to spend 3-4l for one from Toyota. I am in Washington state. Does anybody have recommendations?
