newbie diff question

I hope this hasnt been asked too many times but here it goes...
Im having a bearing fail in my rear diff and am thinking about replacing the 3rd member. Should I go new or used? Any suggestions on sources would be appreciated.
My rig is a '92 v6 ext cab pickup 4x4.

Thanks all for any input

Price new then used. Then decide.

I'd fix my OEM but that's me.
