Newbie with 2.5" daysta lift

Whats up guys, been lookin at this site for a long time and finally joined today. Got an 02 4runner gettin a 2.5" daystar lift and 285 75s this week. Heard some good and bad things about this cheap lift. I was wondering if there are any other mods I should do with this setup and what yall think about this lift.

Thanks

I have a daystar lift on my tacoma. Coil spring spacers on the front and longer shackles on the rear. I have had it on my truck for about 2 years and I have no complaints about it. I stayed with my stock shocks and have had no problems.

The Daystars aren't that bad, they just don't improve your travel like lift coils would. They tend to smash your stock coils more than what they were designed for and in turn, they'll wear out and sag faster than normal. I had Daystars for like 2 years and after my stock coils and shocks were finally shot (the suspension got really bouncy and soft), I got a real lift. If you didn't already buy them, I would suggest doing it right the 1st time and getting coils, but now that they're already on the way, roll with it and have fun for the next year or 2.
