Need help/advice on an '01 Tacoma build!!

Alrighty ya'll I'm new here!
I have an '01 Tacoma- Double cab, 3.4L V6, TRD Off-Road. It's all stock right now, but I've got a general plan of what I want to do to it (just need to work up the funds). I'd like to hear any advice on what I want to do, and maybe ya'll could tell what else I may need to do. Here's what I'm thinkin:
1) The truck's my DD AND toy, so I'll probably keep the IFS, but is there anything I can do to make it "better" or is it good stock?
2) I want a lift big enough to clear 33x12.5" Goodyear MTR's. I was thinkin of a tuff country 5" suspension lift, but they use rear lift blocks.. and I kinda wanna steer clear of those. So what lift should I go with?
3) All-Pro armor. New bumpers (of course) and armor all across the bottom of the truck.
4) Lights: I was lookin at Rigid Industries, but if ya'll have any sick lighting setups I'd love to see them!
I think that'll cover the basis for now. Thanks in advance for all the help!

The IFS works best stock, and if you use 33x10.50s you can fit them pretty much stock. Plus your center of gravity stays lower.

Rigid makes good lights, I have KC slimlights, and like them a lot.

I would armor everything, get some good tires, and an ARB locker for the rear to start, you could get one for the front too if you can afford it.

Tires, lockers, and armor will take you anywhere you want to go in a truck that you care about the body and glass.

Thanks for the help Bob!

I was thinking of a 4" ProComp suspension lift as an alternative to the Tuff country (not sure if the Procomp uses blocks though). The goodyear MTR's are really measured out to 33.5", and I've heard that BFG 33s measure out to like 32" or somethin like that, so I figured the lift will help me be sure that i'll clear those goodyears. I love the way the 12.5 wides look on a tacoma.
Another question: Will I need to do anything to the brakes with the larger tire/rim size?

It's not the height that causes issues it's the width.

As you're wanting to do, I'd avoid lift blocks. You can get lift leaf springs from all pro or trail gear to match whatever front lift you go with.

If you'll search for the Tundra 231mm? brake upgrade, I think that's a pretty common one.

If it were me, and I had the funds, I'd supercharge that thing too!

Oh yeah I forgot to add the little stuff I want to do... Those were just the basics! Here's the rest:
1) superchip
2) snorkel
3) rhino bed liner
4) thinking of doing some sort of cool rack in the bed were I can put a spare tire and gas cans
5) maybe a train horn
