Good morning guys I want to make this post as short as possible.

I'm interested in buying a 1st gen Tacoma.

Today I saw a 2003 Tacoma with a 2.7L engine manual transmission 4x4 with 140k miles for 9k. 2 prior owners. No modifications $9000

I also saw a 2002 tacoma with a 3.4 engine auto transmission 4x4 with 250k miles. Original owner no modifications. $6000

Lastly a 2004 Tacoma 2.4l engine 2wd auto original owner 158k. $6000

Which one should I get?

I was thinking either the 2.7 or 3.4 since both are 4x4

The 3.4 has 250k but I don't know if that's alot on a Tacoma? Never had a Tacoma. But I was thinking that maybe i can just swap the engine and transmission as i have before on other vehicles ive owned. And ask the seller to reduce the price since it's a very high milage truck?

Or should i just get the 2.7 and later on swap it for a 3.4 engine ( is the transmission that the 2.7 has compatible with the 3.4 engine?)

Lastly is the asking prices good or can I negotiate for less?

I need some opinions and advice thank you.

Does anyone on here selling or know someone selling a first gen tacoma 1995-2004 3.4V6??? i've been looking for so long on my local marketplace and craigslist and can't seem to find the right one. I live in hawaii and would love to ship one here! Farthest im willing to ship from is California.
