info 350 sbc 700r4 swap

info 350 sbc 700r4 swap

I have a 1990 4 runner 4wd with a 3.0 and auto transmission.I am going to drop a 350 sbc vortec engine and a 700R4 tranny in it.Question is can i keep the stock diffs and transfer case and where can i get an adapter for this mod.What other parts or modifications do i need to do,the truck is for street use and want to do it as easy as i can my cash flow isnt tight but I am not rich either.Any and all help and info is appreaciated THANX

I know they make adapters I will try to find where. I used a 700r4 with a chevy 208 transfercase with that combo a 1982 blazer drivline will fit for the rear you will need to take the needle bearings and 2 caps from the toyota ujoint and use a grinder and shave the chevy ujoint on the 2 spots that the toyota caps will go on to get the right width. They might sell a ujoint for half chevy half toyota but I havent found them. I have made a few of these so far.
